Wedding season was in full swing over this past weekend, and Tyler and I had the best time going back to Arkansas to celebrate! Sadly we had to miss a third wedding over this past weekend, because it was in NWA. Can someone figure out how to be in three places at once//that would be great lol
On Friday we loaded up the twins and hit the road- they have done so good traveling so far!
We visited with Tyler's parents and then headed to our first celebration of the weekend. Tyler's good friend from work had a wedding celebration at one of our favorite places in all of Little Rock- the Capital Hotel//home of literally the most delicious pimento cheese on the planet! This historic hotel is so beautiful and something I will really miss about being in Little Rock! We danced the night away and had such a great time! Congrats to Matt & Lauren

We stayed with his parents on Friday night, and on Saturday morning hubs went and got us all donuts... There is a local donut shop he grew up going to on the weekends (cash only deliciousness) and they are my favorite!
After our fun treat, we left the twins with their "grandparents" and headed down to Pine Bluff for another wedding! One of my best girlfriends from college got married this weekend, and it was so much fun being with all of my best girls. The wedding was absolutely stunning and of course she looked fabulous!

We spent the day going to a brunch, the girls got ready with the bride and then we headed to the wedding on Saturday night. The wedding had shuttles booked to get around Pine Bluff, and of course me and my friends missed the shuttle... Thankfully a baseball team was staying at our hotel and Texas Southern University Baseball dropped us off at the church. We all died laughing, because of course that happened to us!!
On Sunday we woke up with sore feet from dancing and a lot of wonderful memories. We hit the road and headed back to NLR to get the pups before coming back to Dallas last night. I am so thankful for such a fun weekend with friends and family :)

Congrats again to Wade and Alexandra

Today my sister came to Dallas to stay with us before finals at Baylor! We are having a little birthday dinner for her (omg she is 21) and plan on just hanging out. Also working on wrapping up this apartment//More to come on the progress!

The two cutest puppies in the world are officially ours and we have been loving life with the twins
Everyone meet Beaux he is the Blenhiem aka chestnut and white
And meet Milly she is the tri-color with black, tan, and white

After month's of researching, and scouring the four corners of America we are so happy to welcome these two babies to our family. We found a wonderful breeder down in Corpus Christi, Texas. She sent us pup-dates weekly with photo's and videos of the dogs growing up. It was important to both Tyler and I to get two babies, because I adopted Lucy when she was two! We are loving the puppy stage, even though it is SO MUCH WORK.
These little guys are so cute and cuddly, but they are also W I L D!
group photos are hard yall

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels ancestors are hunting dogs, but they are now loving and affectionate house dogs! Perfect for families and making friends with anyone who walks through the door. We were specifically looking for a breed that would be welcoming and friendly, and we have found our perfect match!
Beaux is very docile and super sweet in nature, and Milly is totally the rebellious one. Even though she is small, she is mighty :) We laugh because Beaux weighs in almost one pound more than Milly, but she finds a way to get what she wants no matter who she is up against! We joke that Beaux is all sugar and Milly is all spice. Having both of them really showcases their individual personalities.
bath time is pretty cute around here
It is so cute to see them play with each other, and romp around. They are both crazy smart and mostly obedient. The first weekend we had them, they were already finding sticks to fetch and retrieving prizes from the front yard for us both. Now they are chasing everything, playing fetch and trying to make friends with every dog in the dog park.
chasing all the dogs in the park :)
They have well-adjusted to apartment life here in Dallas. We have officially been here one week and they are already walking on the leash like a pro! They both love to play and spend time hanging out on our back patio every day. They have already grown so much in the few weeks that we have had them. They weighed in at six and seven pounds when we got them, and they are both growing like crazy.
If you don't already follow my instagram for daily updates on the pups and everything going on in Dallas! I upload to insta-stories almost daily. Also, I am officially back after a brief MIA//I couldn't find my computer charger for the longest time, then it was broken. The struggle of moving is SO.REAL!
Here was their first picture!
Beaux and his pretty markings
Tyler and I laugh so hard at this picture, we truly captured her sassy little personality!
this is how the slept the first night we got them, sweet babies!
Much love from the T W I N S

Today's post is a little different than most, but if you are an Arkansas or Oklahoma bride-to-be this one is for you!

I remember when Tyler and I got engaged and I worked so hard to plan everything out for the wedding, and how stressful it was! I am so excited because I was able to team up with the B E S T of the best in the wedding world a few weekends ago for this styled shoot to help you with that massive wedding day checklist!

Kim Christopher was my wedding photographer, and she captured our day perfectly. She paid attention to all the details, and our photos from the big day are something I will treasure forever! She reached out a few months ago and asked if I was interested in helping her with a styled shoot for publication with local vendors, and of course I said yes!! (ps I did have to sweet talk my husband into this) During wedding planning, I think the hardest thing sometimes is finding the right person to execute all of your wedding day requests- well look no further!
Kim has scoured the Arkansas and Oklahoma area to bring in the very best and I am so excited to share with y'all.

Here are a list of all the vendors to contact for your big day//

How appropriate that my first April post has everything to do with April showers!
You know the saying "April showers brings May flowers" well I am totally living that right now. Things are so busy, and I keep reminding myself to look up and realize even though its raining and crazy, there is a beauty on the horizon.
These are some of my favorite pictures our photographer captured in Rome. It started raining in the middle of the session and I literally got to just dance in the rain

Sometimes it’s hard (esp when you are a classic type A) to let go and realize there are something’s are just not in your control! I have reminded myself over and over the past few weeks to just relax and try to enjoy the ride.

As for now we are cleaning up and out! Next weekend the movers arrive and we both head to Dallas to finally be together! I have missed being with Tyler so much and can’t wait for his help with these crazy puppies :)
ps a post is coming soon about the twins
As for the move; it has been super bittersweet at both work and home, but I know the best is yet to come!

Writing todays post while reading and re-reading Luke 12:22-31
