THE KITCHEN DIARIES// CHICKEN STIR FRY

YUM! One of our favorite week night dishes is chicken stir fry. This has been something I have been *perfecting* since we got married! Tyler laughed when I scanned the WOK onto our registry (I remember, because he made fun of me) Needless to say, he is now very pleased we own one now! I thought I would share this episode of the Kitchen Diaries over the weekend, just in time for you to include the ingredients on your weekly grocery list!

This is something that I started making with just ramen noodles, and its evolved since then. The great thing about stir fry is you can make it with our without meat and honestly you can use any veggies you have! I like to make this on a week I am also grilling out so I can split the veggies up- that way I have more of an assortment, but don't feel bad about wasting produce. To be totally honest, the game changer with this dish is the sesame oil- if you are not using it, your food won't have the right taste!



ps- if you want to add chicken you can either use a roto chicken, or for more flavor I cook boneless skinless chicken breast marinated in garlic, soy sauce, and TJ sweet chili sauce! Once it has cooked I shred and add to the stir fry at the same time as the noodles.
